Easier, faster rescue for tourists demanded

Kathmandu : The Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) and the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) have demanded that rescue operation for tourists be made easier and faster.

In a joint statement issued on Thursday, TAAN President Nawaraj Dahal and NATTA President CN Pandey made this demand, referring to many incidents of death of tourists for want of timely rescue.
